A teenager has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a 20-year-old man who was getting his hair cut in a western Sydney salon.
Police alleged the man, 18, walked into Bossley Park’s Classico Hair Salon in western Sydney wearing a motorcycle helmet and stabbed the 20-year-old in the neck and back.
The 18-year-old was arrested at a home on nearby Tallowood Crescent in Bossley Park late yesterday and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court today.
Witnesses said they heard screams from the salon yesterday afternoon moments after the man wearing the helmet walked in.
Four ambulance crews arrived at the scene and the 20-year-old man was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition where he underwent emergency surgery.
He died last night.
A spokesman for NSW Police confirmed the man was having his hair cut when the alleged offender entered the salon and stabbed him in what is being treated as a “targeted” attack.
